Beautiful and unpublished pair of Lazio landscapes, created by Jan Frans van Bloemen (Antwerp 1662-Rome 1749), known as l'Orizzonte. The paintings are attributable to his early Roman period, as per the expertise of Prof. Giancarlo Sestieri. The canvases are set within two Salvator Rosa frames, gilded with pure gold leaf and made by a craftsman about 30 years ago. Canvas dimensions 62.5x74.5 with frame 76x88
