From a private collection, this antique GHIORDES prayer rug has an ivory background (natural wool color) and stylized Bordeaux red flowers.
In the central niche: a tree with large leaves. It is one of the most beloved carpets by collectors.
It is a late 19th-century piece, its ends were probably rebuilt around the early 1950s.
