Pesaro, 1616
Allegory of Summer
Polychrome maiolica plate with inscriptions: "In Pesaro P.S.P" and "Istate del.1616." Diameter 36.8 cm.
The dating, in addition to increasing the importance of the plate, is a clear document capable of demonstrating that in the 1600s the kilns of Pesaro were still active.
