A blonde, Nordic model, an Amazon standing out against the sky; she brings to mind Amelia Earhart, the famous American aviator, so popular at that time for her heroic crossings. Who knows if Bucci was thinking of her as he surrounded the beautiful Ingeborg with the sky?
The girl from Il the, the previous panel, is portrayed in this study.
The fact is that the work is particularly light and evocative, with the portrait almost in profile and almost three-quarters, that is, neither in profile nor three-quarters;
Ingeborg looks straight ahead, with her mouth open and a smile lit by the fire of lipstick.
The lines of the blonde hair are also accompanied by the blue of the sky, which helps the head to blend with the background and vice versa.
