Glazed terracotta plaque, signed in the lower right and dated on the back.
Period: 1955
Dimensions: 30x35.5cm, depth 2.3cm
She attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna.
Jole Ambrosioni's entire production is characterized by an intense classicism as an ordered and timeless world. The painter's realism is permeated by serene atmospheres, often obtained through gray tones.
In the works kept in America, references to Carrà's plasticism can be noted, and the paintings change style thanks to the brighter and more material color obtained with sand mixed with oil.
In 1979 the municipality of Cesena dedicated an anthological exhibition to her.
Many of her works are exhibited at the Cesena Municipal Art Gallery. She has participated in countless national and international exhibitions, including one in Jerusalem.
