George Lilanga (Kikwetu, 1934 – Dar es Salaam, 2005) was a Tanzanian painter and sculptor. Trained at the Tingatinga pictorial school in Dar es Salaam, he is also known internationally for his peculiar pictorial style, characterized by brightly colored figures and sharp, highly dynamic and caricatured contours. The work is in excellent condition in a frame with glass, the author's signature is at the bottom and a inscription in Swaili language is on the back.
