17th-century stool with shaped backrest and seat supported by three legs. Three-legged chairs and stools derived from the "Cululis" chair of the ancient Romans. In the Italian Alps, Valle D'Aosta, Val Gardena, Val di Susa, there are examples of similar carvings from the 16th to the 18th century, and the best known is the Melezet school. It measures 89 cm high and the seat is 34 cm.
