Pair of Murano glass lamps, blown and pinched with black "thread" and "milk-like" inlays.
This difficult Murano glass technique, for "inlay" and "black hyalit thread" processing, was introduced in Murano during the Futurism period, when Carlo Scarpa and Gio Ponti designed chandeliers and artifacts for the old Muranese furnaces.
These two small jewels fit well in both antique and modern furniture.
