Description:
Splendid Tantalus complete with its three original period liquor bottles (including stoppers). The bottle holder is made of alabaster and finely carved bronze (see photos). If you do not open the lock and lower the upper bronze support (where the handle is), you cannot remove the three bottles. It has a scratch on the alabaster and a very small chip on the base (see photos). The height of 20 cm refers to the bronze handle. The original antique English tantalus from the second half of the 1800s is in good condition. Dimensions: 25x11 cm; h. 20.
