Antique Sorrento travel mirror in inlaid olive wood.

Description: A delightful Sorrento mirror from the late 1800s, with a solid olive wood structure, composed of two hinged parts (brass hinge) which allows both closing, to protect the mirror, and the possibility of being placed on a surface to look into (see photo). Channelled front with rounded sides: inside, on a black/dark brown background, we find a peasant woman seated with her basket, seemingly eating (inlaid work), finished with two inlaid fillets: one light, in pear wood, and one dark. On the back, internally, there is the mirror (6x9 cm, original, not ground), framed by 5 inlaid fillets placed alternately: three light and two dark. The antique Sorrento travel mirror from the late 1800s in olive wood is in excellent condition. Dimensions: 15x12 cm.
