Adam and Eve in Eden Oil on canvas, 126 x 95 cm Giuseppe Amisani Mede Lomellina (PV) 1881 – Portofino (GE) 1941 He studied at the Brera Academy under the guidance of Vespasiano Bignami and Cesare Tallone and was a follower of the Milanese Scapigliatura. A landscape painter, he was inspired by the Lomellina and his travels in France, England, and Egypt; in his mature years, he was an appreciated portrait painter of Milanese nobility.
