Gilded bronze clock

A beautiful maiden with an oval face, dressed in ancient-style clothing, seated on a rock, which holds a circular clock face with Roman numerals; tall, linear base, adorned and refined by a frame of palmettes; front feet with leaf-shaped scrolls. It bears the inscription "Schlafer à Paris". Paris, 19th century
