Two-handled tray 
Description:
Two-handled rectangular tray in 925‰ silver. The wooden base rests on four button feet. The smooth body features two compartments for two bottles and two for eight crystal shot glasses. The cut crystal bottles have a 800‰ silver rim on the top edge and rounded putto-shaped stoppers. Silversmith: Betjemann Brothers (Tray) Origin: London Period: 1897 Measurements: tray 52 x 13.5 x 6 cm (H) - bottles 7 cm (Dia) x 24.5 cm (H) - shot glasses 3.5 cm (Dia) x 5 cm (H) Gross weight: 1025 grams Tray produced by the firm John George Betjemann & Ernest Edward Betjemann of London. The set of bottles was imported by the firm Bertholde Muller (London 1898 – 1908), a distributor for the firm Ludwing Neresheimer & Co. of Hanau, Germany, period 1898.
