Description:
Refined pair of polychrome majolica planters, semicircular moon shape for wall mounting.
On the back of both is the brand with the letters "JH" linked, attributable to Joseph Hannong, exponent of the famous family of ceramists, active at the prestigious Strasbourg manufactory in the second half of the 18th century. Below the monogram appears the number "911" corresponding to the model of the characteristic "fluted wall pocket".
