PAINTED WOOD CONSOLE, SECOND HALF OF THE 18TH CENTURY

Elegant console in solid walnut, finely carved, painted with lean tempera and gilded. The console features a crescent-shaped top, painted to resemble Bardiglio marble, and three feline legs that join at the center on a round base. The console is decorated with geometric carvings and gilded lion protomes at the corners and center, enhancing its refinement, typical of the Neoclassical style. It is a wall-mounted console, equipped with supports for hanging, capable of embellishing any environment with a touch of class and antiquity. Tuscan manufacture from the Neoclassical period, around the second half of the 18th century. Measurements: H x W x D 90 x 96 x 45cm
