A beautiful view of the Basilica della Salute from the opposite bank of the Grand Canal.
The magnificent scene is depicted with extraordinary fineness, both in the rendering of the architecture and in the meticulous description of typical Venetian figures and boats.
The reference to the works of the great veduta painter Francesco Guardi is evident, in one of the city's most iconic views.
The author, possessing exceptional pictorial technique, manages to perfectly imitate the lively and precise style of the Great Master, capturing his artistic peculiarities, with the addition of a more personal chromaticism.
Paintings signed ZANETTI are quite rare, but all are distinguished by an excellent definition of details in the characteristic style of Venetian painting.
The painting is in excellent condition without any restoration intervention and was executed on a panel covered with a very fine-weave canvas.
The carved wooden frame is the original one.
