BRASS SOUSAPHONE LATE 19TH CENTURY

Refined and unique handmade brass sousaphone. The object is a type of bass tuba, generally used in marching bands for its lightness and practicality. The sousaphone consists of a conical bore, with three pistons, and a large bell facing forward. Finally, the absence of the mouthpiece is noted.
