LUIGI XVI BURRLED CHEST OF DRAWERS, SECOND HALF OF 18TH CENTURY
Description:
Elegant chest of drawers veneered in poplar burl and walnut. The front, sides, and top feature geometric inlay decorations, creating frames and adding further refinement. The chest of drawers has truncated pyramid legs, typical of the Neoclassical period, and two ergonomic drawers for storing items, opened with lost-wax cast bronze handles. This piece of furniture is of great taste and elegance, capable of furnishing any room with class and sophistication. Sienese (Tuscany, Italy) manufacture, from the Louis XVI period, around the second half of the 18th century.
