Art Deco dining table, Italian design, 1930s/1940s

Large Art Deco dining table with a black glass top, Italian design from the 1930s/1940s. The base features an inverted 'C' shape that curves towards the floor, typical of many pieces from that period. The perimeter frame is thick and rounded at the corners. The frame is made from walnut veneer and light-coloured wood. The top is finished with a sheet of black glass, creating an elegant colour contrast. The table requires repolishing. Small scratches and signs of ageing on the glass top. Dimensions: H 78.5 x W 184 total (top 180) x D 89.5 (top 85.5) cm.
