Walnut Writing Table with Drawer – Louis XV Style, 18th Century

Description:
Center table or small writing desk
in solid walnut,
Provence, second half of the 18th century.
The frame rests on four cabriole-shaped legs.
The under-top band has a wavy, curved profile
on all sides.
On the short right side is a pull-out drawer
flush with a wooden knob.
The rectangular top has a slightly raised edge
on three sides (tray edge).
Restored and polished with shellac.
