This exceptional clock features an architectural structure in a neoclassical taste, typical of French production of the period. The case, made of finely mercury-gilt bronze, houses a circular white enamel dial, signed "Nicaud Fabt". The hours are indicated by Roman numerals, while the minutes are marked by Arabic numerals. The pierced and finely worked hands are in perfect Louis XVI style, completing a dial protected by a molded frame with delicate bead decorations.
