Achille Castiglioni 'Bibip' lamp for Flos
Description:
Vintage floor lamp model Bibip, designed by Achille Castiglioni for Flos production in the 1970s. Characterized by a minimalist and functional design, this lamp stands out for its chrome-plated metal structure and ceramic components. The hemispherical base, filled with sand, ensures stability, while the slender stove-enameled steel tubing supports the entire structure, allowing the electrical conductor to pass through. The terminal ceramic element houses a lamp holder, while the reflector is adjustable thanks to a ring-shaped handle that remains cool to the touch, allowing the light to be directed laterally or upwards. The manufacturer's label is present.
