Description:
Pair of small fan mirrors in carved and gilded wood, of Lucchese Tuscan manufacture. The pierced cresting, fan-shaped with a shell motif, is surmounted by a central flower and flanked by elegant volutes and acanthus leaves. On the sides, the frame develops with a refined pierced volute design, while at the base a small pierced apron ends with a drop pendant. The original "mercury" mirrors retain the typical oxidations that bear witness to their era. The gilding retains a beautiful original patina.
