Gothic chest with coats of arms, France, 15th Century

Rare Gothic wedding chest, early 15th century, made of walnut wood, with carved panels featuring single and double lancet windows and frames decorated with tempera grassa, featuring the union of noble family coats of arms, supported by winged dragons and dogs. One surmounted by a unicorn, the other by a castle. Excellent state of preservation. Period: early 1400s Origin: France Dimensions: 121 x 55cm height 62cm
