Description:
346 - Elegant and refined writing desk, made of walnut wood with fine veneer and rich geometric inlay decoration. The piece features a perfectly symmetrical front, characterized by four side drawers, two on each side, and a large central apron drawer with a lock. The front frieze is enhanced by an exquisite continuous band inlay motif, while the drawer fronts display geometric reserves executed with great artisanal mastery, typical of 18th-century Northern Italian production. The flowing lines of the apron, enriched by elegant carvings, lend lightness to the overall piece, emphasizing its fine craftsmanship. The desk rests on four slender cabriole legs ending in scrolls, while the large central compartment ensures great practicality of use, making this furniture ideal both as a writing desk and as an important centerpiece table.
