Baluster-shaped body entirely turned from red Verona marble, lid topped by a flame-shaped element, and handles in patinated bronze shaped as full-round seated female figures, joined by floral garlands. Voluted leafy base resting on a quadrangular plinth. Of eclectic historicist taste, the pair recalls decorative motifs of Neoclassical tradition, reinterpreted here with a more naturalistic accent in the figures and garlands. The chromatic contrast between the veined red marble and the dark patina of the bronze enhances the decorative effect of the ensemble, designed for representative furnishings.
