LIGHT WALNUT FALL-FRONT DESK WITH INLAY LOUIS XVI LATE 18TH CENTURY
Description:
Refined fall-front desk in solid light walnut wood, with inlay. The furniture is characterized by a linear shape, with bracket feet and four drawers on the front, openable with pulls and lost-wax cast bronze keys. The top section features an openable door, revealing further storage space inside. It contains two drawers and three shelves, one of which opens to reveal a secret compartment, which in turn conceals two other small secret drawers. Its elegance is further defined by the inlay decoration, which creates geometric patterns on the front and sides. This is a piece of furniture of great taste and refinement, capable of adding a touch of class and antiquity to any room. Tuscan manufacture, from the Louis XVI period, around the late 18th century. Measurements: H x W x D 108 x 117 x 58cm
