PAINTED NEOCLASSICAL BOOKCASE LATE 18TH-EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Description:
Refined fir wood bookcase, finely carved and painted with lean tempera in shades of gray, white, and pink. The bookcase features an upper structure composed of three orders of full-arch openings, adorned with decorative side pilasters, and bracket feet. Below the upper section, there are three more protruding shelves, closed by opening doors, ideal for storing items out of sight, ensuring practicality and ergonomics. The bookcase is extremely spacious, with fabric-lined shelves and the possibility of adding more, up to a total of nine, distributed both on the front and inside the doors. The great refinement of this piece of furniture is accentuated by the lean tempera painting, which alternates colors and lends a touch of elegance to the entire ensemble. It is a bookcase of great taste and elegance capable of bringing a touch of class and antiquity to any environment. Marche region craftsmanship (Central Italy), late 18th-early 19th century. Dimensions: H x W x D 240 x 269 x 45cm
