Description:
Important Tuscan commode with four drawers, inlaid with walnut, with framed motifs on the top—with chamfered corners—and on the sides. The fluted pilaster on the corner upright is beautiful, surmounted by a shell capital. Bronze handles with an ornate design, original escutcheons. Flattened bun feet. The piece retains its original back, locks, and interior. Tuscan antique, mid-17th century.
