PAIR OF MAIOLICA APOTHECARY VASES, FIRST HALF OF THE 18TH CENTURY
Description:
Refined pair of apothecary vases, in polychrome maiolica, with lids. The vases have a curved shape, with a globular body. The decorations, moreover, of floral interlaces, with flowers and butterflies, contribute to imparting further refinement. On the back, the inscription "1742" is also present, to be identified as the production date. This is a pair of vases of great taste and elegance, capable of elegantly enriching any environment. Minor defects are noted. Faenza manufacture, from the first half of the 18th century.
