The composition depicts a series of male portraits representing one of the oldest and most illustrious noble families of Piedmont, originating from the Canavese region. Their history is inseparably linked to the town of Valperga of the same name and to the legendary King of Italy Arduin, from whom the family claimed descent. Lacquered frame.
