Elegant Neapolitan Louis XV chest of drawers, made in the mid-18th century, in precious bois de violette and rose woods, finely inlaid with refined and harmonious taste. The flowing lines, characteristic on both the front and sides, fully express the Rocaille style of the period.
The furniture features two large drawers with gilt bronze handles and sabots, worked with great refinement, which further embellish the structure. The composition is completed by the original Siena yellow marble top, with warm natural veining, perfectly shaped to follow the sinuous movement of the carcass.
A prime example of high Neapolitan cabinetmaking from the 18th century, combining aesthetic refinement and the era's masterful craftsmanship.
