It is a classic still life, characterized by a rich and complex composition. A lush vertical floral arrangement dominates the right side. Among the flowers, one can admire roses in shades of pink and white, tulips, wildflowers, and small buds. Observing the base of the garland, there are also some fruits, including an apple or peach and clusters of dark grapes. On the left stands a large stone arch, partially in ruin, covered with wild vegetation at the top. The opening of the arch acts as a "frame within a frame," drawing the viewer's gaze towards a distant hilly landscape in the background. Large, light white clouds fill the blue sky at the top of the canvas. The painting quality is excellent: the artwork plays on the contrast between the warm, earthy tones of the foreground ruins, the vibrant colors of the flowers (pink, yellow, red), and the freshness of the background, dominated by pastel blues and greens. The light comes mainly from the left, illuminating the profile of the arch and highlighting the details of the petals, leaving the vegetation below in shadow.
