This bronze sculpture depicts Alberto da Giussano and is a work by sculptor Enrico Butti (Viggiù, April 3, 1847 – Viggiù, January 31, 1932).
The piece is a reduction of the official monument inaugurated in Legnano in 1910.
The statue is signed on the base "E. Butti" and is mounted on a tapered grey Bardiglio marble base.
The statue depicts Alberto da Giussano, a symbol of the Lombard League.
The sculpture is of medium to large size with a height of 50 centimeters... it is original from the 1910 period with high-quality craftsmanship.
Similar examples of this work have been estimated or sold at antique auctions with prices ranging from €350 to €2,000, depending on the size and finish.
Perfectly preserved and untouched.
