Description:
Small white marble holy water font with a circular shape polished inside. It has a smooth, regular rim along which a Latin epigraphy runs, engraved. Below the basin, a refined decoration of fluting develops. Once intended for private devotion, as suggested by the small size and the sober elegance of the whole, over time the holy water font was perforated, probably to be reused as a basin for a small fountain.
