This extraordinary Louis XIV secretary, with a curved front and double curves on the sides, represents the highest artistic level achieved by Venetian cabinetmakers of the 18th century, the Golden Age of the Most Serene Republic of Venice.
It is entirely veneered with walnut burl, with solid walnut base and drawer profiles arranged "en testa" (cross-grain).
Majestic and elegant, with splendid proportions, it is suitable for opulently furnishing high-level residences.
This type of furniture has always been considered the most prestigious and representative example of Italian antique furniture.
