PTL733 - Lacquered door complete with frame, 18th century
Description:
PTL733 - Lacquered door characterized by a flowing line in the upper part that follows an elegant mixtilinear arch. The door is complete with its frame, and the leaf is divided into two large superimposed panels, whose inner profiles are shaped with sinuous lines. The recessed central panels create a strong sense of three-dimensionality, and the surface features a refined polychrome lacquer, playing on a sophisticated palette of pastel tones. The ivory background dialogues with the green interior fields, while the profiles of the moldings are highlighted by dark contrasting fillets. On the right stile, prominent wrought iron hinges, partially integrated into the lacquer, stand out, supporting the heavy leaf and allowing it to rotate. On the left, the longitudinal slot of the antique lock is visible. Opening direction: pull to the right. Period: 18th century. Dimensions: L130 x H260 cm. Aperture: L103 x H244 cm.
