Refined set of five carved wood panels, embellished with finely sculpted and ink-finished bone inlays, set in ebonized wood frames. The five panels depict figures and environments in relief, with scenes of life and idyllic landscapes. Between architecture and vegetation, male and female figures, and sages alternate. This is a series of panels used as decorative elements in homes or temples; thanks to their refinement, they are capable of bestowing a touch of class and Eastern antiquity to any environment. Chinese manufacture from the Qing period, around the mid-19th century.
