Stunning large masterpiece sculpture by master sculptor Carmelo Ganci. Made with silver metal coating technique with gold coloring achieved with mecca on terracotta, the base is in ebonized wood. The sculpture is truly striking for its quality of craftsmanship and decorative polychrome detailing, with a very realistic effect. Carmelo GANCI Born in Palermo in 1903, he was active in Milan with his own workshop called "Ganci Ceramiche" starting in 1934. In his own kilns, he produced an eclectic range of both classical and modern works, also using the metal coating technique, with a galvanoplastic method, on raw terracotta. Perfectly preserved.
