Refined Set comprising eight Neapolitan Louis XVI chairs, dating from the late 18th century. The elegant backrests feature the characteristic inverted "Y" shape, typical of Neapolitan production of the period, finely carved and decorated.
The wooden structure is enhanced by a rich silver gilt with mecca, a decorative technique of great value that gives the surface a soft and iridescent luminosity, particularly appreciated in the aristocratic furnishings of the Kingdom of Naples. The carved edges, the turned legs, and the carved volutes testify to the high quality of execution of the work.
The seats, upholstered in light-colored fabric, maintain a sober elegance that dialogs harmoniously with the rich decoration of the structure.
