Series of four landscapes with figures, Piedmontese school, 18th century
Description:
Decorative series composed of four oil paintings depicting landscapes with figures, attributable to the Piedmontese school of the 18th century. The scenes, homogeneous in hand and palette, alternate lake and valley views with small figures, shepherds and flocks, set with tree-lined backdrops and mountainous distances in an Arcadian taste typical of the eighteenth century. The ensemble is conceived as a coordinated cycle, ideal as pairs or as a complete collection.
The series is accompanied by beautiful antique carved and gilded wooden frames, consistent with each other and of excellent quality.
