Beautiful and rare dresser - toilet cabinet in Cuban mahogany feather, Empire style with half column, early 19th century, French origin. The cabinet is completely original AND DOES NOT REQUIRE RESTORATION (see photos). The restoration and polishing were carried out directly by us, the finishing was done with shellac using the "wick" technique. The cabinet had a dual purpose as it was also used as a toilet cabinet; the top can be opened and inside there are retractable shelves that act as support surfaces (see photos). The work surface is completed by two pull-out shelves. The central part contains a removable basin for water. On the sides, the support base is made of a lead pour for waterproofing (see photos).
