Description:
CHM916 - Refined fireplace in Carrara white marble, characterized by a sinuous line and rich bas-relief carving.
The front frieze features a flowing profile, embellished in the center with a large stylized shell flanked by elaborate floral motifs and acanthus leaves that develop harmoniously along the entire traverse.
The composition presents natural forms and linearity in its movement.
The lateral uprights, shaped and slightly bulging, are decorated with volutes and leaf motifs carved in relief. The upper corners end with soft curls that visually accompany the profile of the mantelpiece.
The upper mantelpiece, with its slightly projecting lines, completes the compositional balance of the ensemble.
