Description:
Italian-made chest of drawers, crafted from walnut and poplar wood. The piece features a front with three drawers, characterized by a tripartite panel design defined by bosses. Each boss is veneered with pre-root walnut and bordered with boxwood inlay. Each drawer is equipped with hardware. The structure rests on four carved bracket feet that support the molded base. Just below the top surface, there is a dentil cornice running along the entire perimeter. The wooden surface highlights the natural grain of the walnut, with a uniform brown hue.

– Structural restoration: restoration of small missing parts, closing of any cracks on the back, consolidation of deteriorated areas, inspection and repair of hardware.
– Thorough woodworm treatment.
– Cleaning and sanitization of interiors.
– Exterior finish with natural beeswax.
– Interior finish with shellac, a natural alcohol-based varnish.
