Elegant pair of Italian table lamps produced in Murano during the 2000s.
The lamps feature large hand-blown smoked grey glass dome shades crowned by refined glossy black glass details. The bodies are composed of ribbed transparent smoked glass elements enriched by gilt brass accents and raised on black lacquered metal bases.
The combination of transparent ribbed glass, smoked surfaces and dark details creates a sophisticated interplay of reflections and contrasts. When illuminated, the glass develops a warm glow that enhances the depth and transparency of the material.
