Italian painting dated 1913. Oil on canvas, first canvas, artwork depicting an interior scene in the antique style, "Entertainment at Court," of good pictorial quality. The horizontally arranged painting is adorned with a beautifully decorated carved, gilded, and lacquered faux-marble wooden frame (see photo). The painting is signed and dated lower right, F. Bonati 1913 (see photo), signature under study.
An elegant scene set in a sumptuous hall with aristocratic figures in 17th-century dress. The painting has undergone some minor conservative restoration work, with patches on the back (see photo) and repainting in some areas. The canvas has several superficial cracks in the paint due to age (see photo), requiring restoration for greater enjoyment. Overall, the artwork is in fair condition. Internal dimensions: H 58 x W 92 cm.
