This pair of imposing polychrome porcelain candelabra, a full 61 centimeters tall, represents a refined example of prestigious 19th-century German art manufacturing. The sculptures depict two slender female figures captured in graceful and plastic poses, interpretable as elegant allegories of the seasons or classic mythological figures. Each figure wears a robe with meticulous detail, richly decorated with delicate hand-painted floral motifs and soft color gradations. The candles are housed at the top of the headdresses, skillfully shaped into floral buds to seamlessly integrate with the design. The molded bases follow the Rococo style, enhanced by relief applications and decorated feet that lengthen the structure. The excellent state of preservation and the richness of the plastic details attest to the extremely high artisanal level and the historical value of the artifacts.
