Description: Antique late 19th-century bodice from the traditional Sardinian costume, originating from the Sulcis-Iglesiente area, known as 'su cossu'. Dating back to the late 1800s. Made of handwoven brocade on a blue background with gilded floral and foliate motifs, it is lined with linen and has a semi-rigid structure. The most probable origin could be Sarroch, Domus de Maria, Pula: it bears similarities to Teulada (Lower Sulcis).
