Elegant Pair of Louis XVI Armchairs of Neapolitan manufacture and late 18th century.
The seats feature a finely carved and gold-leaf gilded wooden structure, with rosette motifs and classic decorations. The backrests are medallions, slightly shaped, connected to curved armrests that join the seat frame via curved uprights. The seat is ample and comfortable, padded and upholstered in plain white fabric. The tapered and fluted legs end in a puntale, giving the composition dynamism and rigor.
A refined example of Neapolitan Neoclassical taste, these armchairs represent a perfect balance between formal elegance and functional comfort, typical of Bourbon-era production.
