Elegant Genoese corner cabinet from the Louis XV period, made in the mid-18th century. The piece of furniture is finely lacquered and hand-painted with delicate floral motifs and rich rocaille scrolls, typical of refined Ligurian production from the 18th century.
The flowing and sinuous shape, combined with the slender curved legs and the rich polychrome decoration, give the furniture considerable elegance and a strong decorative impact. The pictorial quality of the decorations, executed according to the taste of the time, is particularly appreciable.
The corner cabinet is in good general condition, considering its age. There are signs of wear, losses, and imperfections due to the passage of time; the furniture requires conservation restoration work aimed at further enhancing its authenticity and historical charm.
